Charles Barkley Loses It on «Fools» Over *Inside the NBA* Schedule Drama
Oh boy, here we go. Charles Barkley, never one to shy away from a good rant, has officially entered his grumpy old man era regarding the scheduling of *Inside the NBA*. Apparently, Sir Charles complained that the show was off the air for too long after moving to ESPN and now… everyone has an opinion.
The internet, naturally, exploded with theories. Colin Cowherd chimed in suggesting the NBA itself orchestrated a bit of a sidelining due to Barkley’s crew being *too* honest about the league (apparently, making fun of players is frowned upon!). Cowherd posits Adam Silver and Co. wanted to «put it on the shelf a little bit.»
But Barkley isn’t having any of it. In a recent broadcast, he unleashed a glorious tirade against the “fools on television” spreading these rumors, screaming «Shut the hell up!» He insisted the schedule was pre-planned months ago and his only gripe was wanting to work *more* during December.
His co-hosts, Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith, backed him up, reminding everyone that *Inside the NBA* is about to be all over your screens for the playoffs.
So, it seems like we can safely ignore the conspiracy theories (for now). But honestly? The thought of the NBA trying to silence Barkley because he’s too critical is… delightful. It just proves how good this show really is! Tune in Wednesday, January 28th if you want to see Sir Charles continue to be gloriously unfiltered. You won’t regret it. (Unless you *are* one of those «fools on television,» then maybe hide your face.)
